Acoaxet Shellfish Farm is a community of friends, family, farmers, customers, chefs and neighbors. Together we strive to cultivate oysters, clams, scallops and occasionally specialty seed, from egg to the larvae stage to various seed sizes. Raising seed in a flow-through hatchery system with filtered saltwater, protects our young mollusk brood from predators, pollutants, and environmental stresses. Producing our own seed guarantees the highest quality clams, oysters and scallops from the outset and meets our strict standards of environmental care. Our hatchery, traceability methods, buyback guarantee and ancillary events and programs, creates sustainable, living wage jobs and careers in coastal communities. We grow our products in-house in our beautiful state-or-the-art hatchery located on a beautiful ocean side farm in Rhode Island.  Come visit and help us support farming for future generations at sea or on land!
